Peugeot 3008 Exterior

The Peugeot 3008 2020 facelift flaunts a bold and modern exterior with a sleek and high-tech design. The front end houses a frameless grille with gloss black side scoops and a lower bumper trim which give it a seamless and powerful look. The full LED headlamps with SDL function are coupled with hook-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRL).

The rear end houses 3-D lion claw-shaped full LED rear lights with scrolling indicators. The lights have a smoked glass lens which gives it a sporty look. The rear exterior consists of a  slanted rear window with a purposeful spoiler as well as a rearview camera.

The Peugeot i-Cockpit comes with a digital instrument panel in a high quality display. The Peugeot 3008 will be manufactured in Pakistan, so its auto parts will be available locally. However, it will take time for mechanics to learn how to work on the vehicle since it is a new model.

  In night-time conditions, the exclusive ‘Night Vision’ system with in front camera will detect the presence of pedestrians or animals up to 200m in front of the vehicle, beyond the range of headlights and will warn you with an alert signal. Automatic emergency braking can also be triggered if pedestrians or cyclists are located near the vehicle.

  LANE DEPARTURE WARNING SYSTEM

  Lane Departure Warning is a system that detects, using a camera that recognizes solid or broken lines, when a longitudinal lane marking on the ground is accidentally crossed. It warns the driver and corrects the car’s trajectory when the system identifies a risk.

  SPEED LIMIT SIGN RECOGNITION AND RECOMMENDATION

  This system detects and reads speed limit and end of speed limit signs, and displays them in the instrument panel. The system also takes account of the speed limit information from the navigation system mapping.

   

  The system also features speed limit recommendation where the driver has the option to adapt their speed to the speed limit read by the camera via the car’s cruise control.

  ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

  With radar assistance, the system detects the car in front and automatically maintains the previously selected safe distance by acting on the brake and accelerator. If necessary, the system functions until the car comes to a complete stop (with an automatic gearbox or down to 18mph with a manual gearbox).
